**“Objects fall on the earth due to a force of attraction by the earth. Therefore, the earth, planets, constellations, moon and sun are held in orbit due to this attraction.”**

I think you might have correctly guessed the meaning of the above lines. Obviously the meaning of these lines is parallel tothat of Newton’s Law of Gravity. But these lines are not said by the European scientist Sir Issac Newton. They are said by an Indian before Newton. Before Newton??? not one or two days before Newton, but 1200 years before the birth of Newton. Isn’t a surprise for us??? But it’s true…….

In Surya Siddhanta, dated 400-500 AD, the ancient Hindu astronomer Bhaskaracharya states these lines.

Approximately 1200 years later (1687 AD), Sir Isaac Newton rediscovered this phenomenon and called it the **Law of Gravity**.

Now we realize it is not Newtons Law of Gravity, it is Bhaskaracharya’s Law of Gravity.

Bhaskaracharya’s “Law” is stating the painfully obvious, though it is in opposition to the West’s RELIGIOUS terracentric position, and you are mistakenly making a parallel to the Newton’s Law that is almost always restated in layman’s terms. Newton, the mathematician, wrote the EQUATIONS for gravitational attraction F=GMm/r^2 ……show me this equation in your 1500 year old writings and I’ll give you PARTIAL credit. I also submit, in context, that Bhaskaracharya pegs constellations as being held by Earth if you reread your quotation, which is incorrect. Though the advanced state of Indian astronomy is indisputable, Newton’s Law of Gravitational attraction still stands.

Dude!! first of all you don’t know Sanskrit…You only know that mathematics can only be written in mathematical form..but the Bhaskaracharya had written this in literature form..

.this is the reason why you don’t see any Equation ..if you convert that in English u will realise that he said ..

.” the force is proportional to the product of the two masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them ” which simply makes a Equation…………..

Bhaskaracharya completely said that — Gravity was a push ( after observing the solar eclipse ) and NOT a pull. ..

.Newtons gravity laws whig makes attraction a sort of magnetic pull is all bullshit. It is explained in GURUTVAKARSHAN that gravity is a property of matter and akasha warp.

“… even when Indian ideas are demonstrated to be correct there is the racist propensity to argue that the Indian understanding was just an ad hoc lucky guess — which is perilously close to what now passes for scientific knowledge.” — Vine Deloria Jr., historian, 1997

Even Differential Calculus was discovered by Bhaskaracharya and Integral calculus by Madhava …there is no dobt that Newton,Robert Hooke used to come in kerela school of Astronmy to learn Physics…and Greek stole from Egyptians and Babylonians.
